RISE UPP Webinar Series: Understanding Postdoc-To-Tenure Track Hiring Models

In the last 10 years, many colleges and universities have created postdoctoral fellowship programs that allow fellows the opportunity to transition (or “convert”) into tenure-track roles. In this webinar, Dr. Dawn Culpepper (UMD) and Dr. Wendy Carter-Veale (UMBC) will discuss findings from a policy and practice review that synthesized key attributes of existing conversion programs (N of 38) at institutional, consortium, and system levels. They will discuss commonalities and unique features across models and engage the audience in discussion about their findings.
